About the event
This program is the next progressive level in club fencing. Fencers enrolled in the Intermediate Program will work on developing their skills learned in the Beginner Program through sparring and guided mini-group lessons. Focus will be placed on individual development with targeted areas of technique such as timing, tempo, and compound action. Sparring will occur largely with the aid of electric fencing equipment while mini-group lessons will focus on quick non-electric exercises. Additionally, Intermediate fencers will explore how to referee fencing matches and will learn many of the necessary terms associated with the activity. The program is monthly and is open to anyone who has completed a Beginner Program.
Program Duration: Monthly
Sessions: Thursdays 2-hour sessions
